Chart Patterns and “No Data” Template in Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Charts

With the 2024 Q4 release, Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Charts are enriched with an option to configure patterns for the chart series and a new “No Data” template.

• Chart patterns: The already robust customization options are further enriched with support for using patterns in chart series. Patterns serve to visually differentiate the chart series. See Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Charts patterns demo.
• “No Data” template: The newly added template allows you to display a message when there is no data to show, which is beneficial when loading data asynchronously, as it reassures users that data may appear after a delay. Strengthen Security with a CSP-Compliant Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Spreadsheet

Having a CSP-compliant Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Spreadsheet enhances the security of your web applications by supporting adherence to Content Security Policy (CSP) standards. By implementing CSP, developers can control which resources are allowed to load and execute within their applications, helping them effectively mitigate risks associated with vulnerabilities.

Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Grid Now Supports a “Scroll to Item” Method

Effortlessly guide users to any data point with the Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Grid “scroll to item” available with the 2024 Q4 release. Whether it needs to initially display a specific row or to auto-navigate based on certain triggers or user actions, the ASP.NET Core Data Grid scrollToItem() method makes it easy to deliver intuitive user experiences.

In a scrollable Grid case, the ID of the data item is passed to the scrollToItem() method, while in a virtual scrolling case, when the row is not yet loaded, the ID of the data item is passed and a callback function to the scrollToItem() is triggered.

More Updates and Enhancements in ASP.NET Core

• Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core DropDownButton appearance is elevated with an arrow button indicating the availability of additional items.
• With the 2024 Q4 release, Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core components allow you to initialize them as ECMAScript modules.
• Interval option is added to the ASP.NET Core DateTime and TimePicker controls.
• Enhanced accessibility in ASP.NET Core MediaPlayer.
• ASP.NET Core picker components are now compatible with the DateOnly type, allowing you to set the value of the specific component to a DateOnly property.

• SpreadStreamProcessing: With the latest release, we’ve added support for importing files with absolute relationship targets.
